You upload your list
Drag in a spreadsheet or a text file — whatever your email tool exported is almost certainly fine. Nothing starts until you say go, and you can see the price before you commit.

We tidy it up first
Before checking anything we clean the file itself: trim stray spaces, drop anything that is not really an email address, and remove duplicates. You are never charged twice for the same address in one upload.

We check every address
For each address we ask the mail provider whether that mailbox actually exists — the same question a mail server asks before delivering. We stop before anything is sent, so no one on your list ever hears from us.

This is the question we get most, so it is worth being blunt about it. Checking whether a mailbox exists and sending a message to it are two different things. We only ever do the first.
Handing over a contact list is a big ask. Here is exactly what we do and do not do with it.

FAQ
Questions people ask us
Will this get me marked as a spammer?
No. We never actually deliver a message to your contacts. We only ask their mail provider whether the address exists and stop there, so nobody on your list hears from us.
What kind of file can I upload?
A spreadsheet or a plain text file — one address per line or in a column. If you export from your email tool, whatever it gives you will almost certainly work.
How accurate is it?
For most addresses we get a clear yes or no. Some providers deliberately accept everything or refuse to answer, and there we say risky instead of guessing. An honest label is more useful than a confident wrong one.
How long does it take?
Small lists come back in minutes. Large ones take longer because we deliberately go at a polite pace with each mail provider — rushing gets everyone blocked. You can close the tab and come back later; your account shows how far along a list is while it runs.
What if the same address appears twice?
We remove duplicates before we start, so you are never charged twice for the same address in one upload.
Do my credits expire?
No. Credits stay in your account until you use them. There is no monthly reset and no subscription running in the background.
Can I try it before buying a lot?
Yes. Buy a small amount first, run a sample of your list, and see the results for yourself before committing to a bigger batch.
What if a list fails partway through?
You are only charged for addresses that were actually checked. Anything that did not run stays in your balance.
How do I pay?
Credits are bought through the ASTGD client area, the same place every ASTGD product is bought and supported. Pick a pack or enter the amount you need, pay, and the credits appear in your Valid Email Verifier account straight away.
Can I get a refund on credits I have not used?
Yes. A purchase can be refunded in full within 14 days as long as none of its credits have been used. Once any credit from a purchase has been spent, that purchase is final — see the Refund Policy for the details.
I use the desktop version. What changes?
Nothing you already have. Your desktop licence keeps working exactly as it does today. The cloud service is the version we sell and develop from now on; it needs no installation, runs any size of list, and is paid for per address instead of per licence.
